Moisture Controlled

Great Product and Fast Service Tank sizing. To make life a bit easier for anyone who reads this, there should be an "operating specifications" sticker near the bottom of the tank. Somewhere on that sticker there will be a code ie 1054 in my case (it was right under the heading "Color & Size"). 1054 means the tank is 10 inches in diameter and 54 inches tall. When I measured my tank, no matter what angle or distance I looked at the tape measure from it really looked like 9.5 inches in diameter. I ordered the 10 x 54 and they both fit perfectly with just the right amount of snugness. Service/Delivery was quick. I ordered the tank on Sunday afternoon. On Monday afternoon I got an email saying the order was processed, and the Tank Jackets were delivered on Tuesday Morning. Instalation was a breeze. The jackets could not be any easier to install. It took about 3 minutes to install the two of them and most of that time was spent drying off the moisture on the outside of the tamks before I put the jackets on them. Functionality seems great so far. First, they look great on the tanks. Before posting this review, I waited a couple of days to see how well they would prevent condensation (which is the main reason I got them). Over the last couple of days, on top of our normal water usage, I had two sprinklers on watering the lawn for several hours at a time. There was absolutely no evidence of condensation on the floor around the iron tank or the water softener tank. I did read somewhere (might have been on a different website) that the jackets are washable. I think it might be a good idea to take them off and clean them and the tank every now and then in case there is any moisture build-up between the tank and the jacket. Overall it what a great experience and seems to be a great product. On top of that I'm really happy that I was able to support a Canadian company!
