Frequently Asked Questions
Are these UV products suitable for homes, cottages and commercial sites?
Yes. The collection includes UV lamps and systems for residential homes, cottages and commercial applications, with products designed for both point-of-entry (whole building) and point-of-use (kitchen/fixture) installations.
Do I need pre-filtration before my UV system?
Yes, proper pre-treatment is critical. UV systems are designed to work with clear water, typically with sediment filtered down to about 5 microns and with iron, hardness, tannins and other elements kept within specified limits. Pre-filters help ensure the UV rays can properly reach and disinfect the water.
Do you offer UV sensors and other parts to monitor performance?
Yes. Along with lamps and sleeves, the collection includes ultraviolet sensors, power supplies and other UV parts for many systems. UV sensors and system electronics can help monitor lamp operation, though most residential units still rely on regular maintenance and water testing rather than sleeve-fouling alarms.
